With a peripatetic upbringing, Anne-Pierre de Peyronnet the founder, grew up between South East Asia and Europe, Paris and the heart of France, where his family château rests between its Medieval ramparts.

After many hops over the Channel and Rhine River for language training, Anne-Pierre crossed the pond in the early 90’s and experienced the fun and excitement of New York City for 2 years. In 1994 he returned to Paris to work in the retail industry, where he managed a team and consulted supermarket chains in France and Eastern Europe.  In 2000, Anne-Pierre moved to Boston for his MBA at Babson.  During his studies, Anne-Pierre also worked for a budding New York firm specialized in custom-designed, hand-woven rugs where he was involved in the development, implementation and follow through of the TriBeCa company’s strategy. In 2007, willing to share his experience, Anne-Pierre teaches a class of marketing in English at LA SORBONNE, for the 'Master 2 Professionnel: Marketing' program.

SHIRALY comes from: the Australian word shiralee which refers to a portable shelter usually containing belongings traditionally carried by a traveller. In Hungarian, a shirali is a seagul. More personally, the SHIRALEE is the boat on which as a kid, I sailed from island to island exploring the surroundings of Singapore and bringing home the treasures found on the beaches.
