Internationally Maison & Objet is one of the most recognised events in the trade. The bi-annual Parisian tradeshow concentrates on a vast array of manufacturers and creators. Throughout the week that it takes place (22 – 26 Jan) Paris is bubbling with coordinated events and designs on view. This letter will highlight particularly interesting stops and introduce portions of the show.

Hall 5 B – Editeurs
This Hall is one of the stars of the event, and has been ever since the Paris Decoration Biennale has capsized. In this building, you will find some of the greatest names from all over. Make sure you visit:
Hall 5 B – Scène d’Intérieurs
Another star at the event, Scène d’Intérieurs showcases a collection of brand names. Those develop their interpretation of trends and propose to the visitor a show where luxury and extravagance are combined.
Hall 5C – Projets; Côté Meubles
The concept of “Projets” is ambitious: to gather in a single place an array of talents capable of manufacturing to order, and to propose a solution to any given situation, whether architectural or decorative, artistic or technological! It is the first time “Projets” is promoted to the January edition of Maison&Objet.
“Meubles” used to be a show in itself somehow redundant with Maison&Objet. The former has now been absorbed completely it seems, and will take place in September. As for the January session, a downsized version “Côté Meubles” shares hall 5C with “Projets”.
It will be interesting to see what companies are presented on “Projets” and on “Côté Meubles”.
Hall 7A – NOW!
For its 10th anniversary, now! is up scaled. The renewed ambition is to encourage innovation on the spur of the moment; it is to draw beachheads into the future; and it is to bring manufacturers and creators to meet!
