Maison & Objet, September 7-11.
Maison&Objet: Where to start?

This is trully a large venue. We recommend you start off your journey at Halls 5B and 7.

Hall 7 is new and focuses on outdoor furniture. According to the organization:

… the launch of MAISON&OBJET outdoor_indoor... is a unique event for discovering
the best of high-end designer and creative outdoor furniture and accessories.

Hall 5B is also new and hosts under the 'PROJETS' label, bespoke manufacturers. According to the organization:

MAISON&OBJET 'projets' facilitates the contacts between manufacturers and consultants…
and creates a junction point of encounters and of expertises.

While at Maison & Objet, SHIRALY recommends you visit:
ULGAD'OR:
Since 1996, has been creating a wide range of wallpapers, mural panels and objects under ULGAD’OR© trademark. Creations by ULGAD'OR can be seen on the resource gallery at www.shiraly.com.

How to get to Maison&Objet from CDG airport?
4 reasons why you will find the train more convenient:
  1. It is the fastest. 1 stop right after the airport.
  2. It is the cheapest: < 5€.
  3. It is almost the easiest way to get there !
    Just follow the signs. The pictures below will give you an idea of how easy it is. However, this route is not recommended if you carry heavy luggage.
  4. You will get a close look at French public-tarnsportation design from the 1980ies.
At the airport, look for and follow the signs: "Paris by train, RER - B". This is within walking distance.
Once at the station, to find your train and plateform, look for the billboard displaying the train schedules. It shows:
  • departure time;
  • train name and plateform (voie) number;
  • and the stops along each train's route -stops made are represented by a white dot.

On the photo, 'PELE' is a good candidate, on plateform 12.

'PARC DES EXPOSITIONS' is the stop, 3rd stop from the left.

2 trains go there.

On the plateform, check the billboard. Make sure the train stops at 'PARC DES EXPOSITIONS':

2nd stop from the top, on the left column.

Remember, all stops along the route are represented with a white dot.

'PARC DES EXPOSITIONS':

This is the very 1st stop after the airport!
