| Presentation: |
| Le Courbusier's maxim, "traditions are made by creating them in your time", is a favourite of Jean-Michel Delisle. Understandable, since his family company was founded in 1895. With an archive of over 10,000 drawings and some 4,000 models, Delisle is inspiration incarnate. For one client, a large lantern was realized from an aquarelle Jean-Michel's great-grandfather painted in 1903 for Tsar Nicholas II in St. Petersburg.

| Philosophy: |
| Employing 18th-century methods, Delisle has a team of designers, bronze-smiths, engravers, wrought-iron makers and gold-leaf specialists. Sand-casting is used for all but the particularly difficult models, which require the nearly-lost wax technique. |
